The Story Behind The Photo...
How does a place become more than steel and seats—becoming a sanctuary of dreams and devotion?
Before the world stirred, I found myself standing before Levi’s Stadium—The Big Bellbottom, The Seam, The Gold Mine, Field of Jeans, home of the 49ers and the Faithful to The Bay. The cool Santa Clara air wrapped around me, the sky painted in gentle hues of dawn. The hush was broken only by distant birds and the faint hum of awakening city life. I breathed in the legacy of this place—built on dreams, innovation, and the unwavering spirit of the Bay.
Framing the shot, I wrestled with the elusive, shifting light. Early morning photography demands patience and surrender; shadows dance, colors shift, and every second is a gift and a challenge. I prayed for guidance, seeking to honor God through my art, to capture not just a stadium, but the soul of a community—its history, its hope, its faith.
As the sun crested, Levi’s Stadium glowed—a beacon of unity, resilience, and glory. In that moment, I felt awe and gratitude, immersed in the culture and history that pulse through every beam and banner. My hope is that this photograph transports you to that morning, filling you with wonder and reminding you of the beauty found in faith and new beginnings.
